Ryan Williamson

Meet Ryan – a healthcare professional who dove into the deep end of A&E just three days after his 18th birthday and hasn't looked back since. Now pursuing his Masters in Adult Nursing at Canterbury Christ Church University, he brings over 15 years of experience across emergency and community healthcare settings to everything he does.

Known as the team's IT guru, Ryan has built his career on combining healthcare expertise with technical prowess. His background includes managing and training healthcare teams in digital transformation, making complex systems accessible to all skill levels. This unique blend of clinical and technical knowledge has made him an invaluable asset in modernising healthcare delivery.

Following a stint with the British Army training for the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps, Ryan's commitment to excellence shows in everything he does – whether that's implementing new healthcare systems or providing direct patient care in the Emergency Department. His experience spans from leading administrative teams to hands-on clinical work, always focusing on improving patient outcomes through better processes and care delivery.

Ryan's dedication to helping others extends beyond his professional life. As a Freemason, he actively contributes to charitable causes and community support. When he's not at work, you might find him training for his next challenge - he's already completed 25 Tough Mudders, run marathons, and taken part in 24-hour open water swim events for various charities. And after all that activity, he unwinds with his pug, Bandit, who's appointed himself as chief supervisor of their cooking show viewing sessions.
